During January-November of the current year, the volume of foreign trade turnover of Georgia with Azerbaijan was $ 932 777,1 thousand, which is 1.7% less in comparison to the related period of the previous year, according to report presented by National Statistics office of Georgia based on preliminary calculations, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.
8.1% of total trade turnover of Georgia fell on the share of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, Georgia imported goods and products worth $ 488 159,0 thousand from Azerbaijan. This indicator decreased by 4.9% in comparison to the same period of the previous year.
The export of Georgia to Azerbaijan made up $ 444 618,2 thousand, which is 2.2% more in comparison to the same period of the previous year.
As a result, there has been negative balance amounted to $ 43 540,8 thousand in trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
