Negative trade balance between Azerbaijan and US decreases by 18%

In January-November of 2020, the volume of trade balance between Azerbaijan and the US has been USD 614,17 mln., which is 16.9% less in comparison with the same period of the previous year, according to calculations of APA-Economics on the basis of the report of the State Customs Committee.

In the first eleven months of 2020, export from Azerbaijan to the US has made up USD 21,30 mln, which is USD 555,48 mln. or 2.5% less in comparison with the analogical period of last year.

Import has been USD 592,87 mln. and it has increased by USD 124,05 mln. or 17.3% as compared to the same period of 2019.

As a result, a negative balance of USD 571,57 mln. has been created during the reporting period and it is USD 123,493 mln. or 17.8% less in annual comparison.
