Oil GDP decreased by 7% in Azerbaijan last year

In 2020, the volume of GDP produced in Azerbaijan decreased by 4.3% and constituted AZN 72 432,2 mln in comparison to the same period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.

According to the information, added value in the non-oil sector of economy decreased by 2.6%, by 7% in the oil and gas sector.

During the reporting period, 33.7% of GDP production fell on share of industry, 11.5% trade; repair of transport vehicles, 7.1% transport and warehousing, 7.7% construction, 6,9% agriculture, forestry and fisheries, 1.2% accommodation of tourists and public catering, 2% information and communication fields, 20.2% other fields.

GDP per capita has been AZN 7 262,8 (-5%).
