In January-May of this year, the volume of foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan decreased by 2,1% in comparison to the same months of 2019, and made up USD 52,7 thousand, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee.
In the first five months of this year, Azerbaijan exported products amounted to USD 6 971 926,3 thousand, while the volume of import was USD 4 165 052,6 thousand. As a result, there was a positive balance worth USD 2 806 873,7 thousand.
In January-May of 2020, positive balance of foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan increased by 0,9% in comparison to the related months of the previous year, export and import decreased by 19,1% and 28,6% respectively.
