Samir Sharifov: “Active work is being conducted on a new economic package related to the pandemic”

“Work is underway regarding the new economic package. It is planned to continue the previous economic packages and aid,” Azerbaijan's Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov told APA.

The Minister noted that additional information on the details will be provided: “It is possible that some changes will be made to the support provided for in the previous economic package in connection with the pandemic. Regular statements were made about the use of support. Taking into consideration those, the work will continue in this way. It is possible that the directly affected areas will be reviewed again. Perhaps, these areas will be further expanded. Active working is being carried on it.”
