In January-February of this year the volume of the trade exchange with Iran conducted by Azerbaijan amounted to USD 60 200,5 thousand which is 3.2 times less as compared with the same period of the previous year, according to the calculations conducted by "APA-Economics" on the basis of the State Customs Committee’s report.
In the first two months of 2020, the volume of Azerbaijan’s export to Iran amounted to USD 8 425,8 thousand which is 1 550,1 thousand or 15,5% less as compared with the analogical period of the previous year.
And the volume of Azerbaijan’s import from Iran amounted to USD 51 774,7 thousand, and this indicator has decreased by USD 129 545,9 thousand or by 3.5 times as compared with the same period of the previous year.
As a result, the negative balance amounting to USD 43 348,8 thousand was formed during the reporting period which is 3.9 times less on a year-on-year basis.
