Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and USA decreases by two times

In January of this year, the volume of trade exchange with the USA conducted by Azerbaijan amounted to US$ 30 372,45 thousand which is by 2.2 times less compared with the same month of the previous year, "APA-Economics" reports citing the calculations conducted on the basis of the statement of the State Customs Committee.

During January of 2020, the volume of exports from Azerbaijan to the USA amounted to US$ 824,5 thousand which is by 3.2 times less than the indicator for the same period of the past year. And the volume of the imports amounted to US$ 29 547,95 thousand. This indicator has decreased by 2.2 times as compared with the same period of 2019.

Consequently, the negative balance amounting to US$ 28 723,45 thousand has developed.
