During January-April of this year, the volume of trade exchange conducted by Azerbaijan with the USA made up $ 330,213.3 thousand which is 64.9% more as compared with the same period of the previous year, according to the calculations conducted by "APA-Economics" based on the report of the State Customs Committee.
During the initial four months of 2020, the volume of export from Azerbaijan to the USA made up $ 6,528.1 thousand which is $ 390.2 thousand or 5.6% less as compared with the same period of the last year.
And the volume of import equaled to $ 323,685.3 thousand, and this indicator increased by $ 130,368.5 thousand or 67.4% as compared with the same period of 2019.
Consequently, in the reporting period, the negative trade balance amounting to $ 317,157.2 thousand emerged which is $ 130,758.7 thousand or 70.1% more in annual comparison.
