The volume of exports of goods from Azerbaijan is forecasted to be made up USD 13,330 bln, while the volume of imports of goods to the country is forecasted to be made up USD 10,654 bln in 2021, APA-Economics reports citing “Concept and forecast indicators of economic and social development of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021 and the next 3 years” included in the budget envelope for 2021.
Thus, the volume of total trade turnover is expected to be 23,984 bln dollars.
According to the figures, next year the balance will be positive and make up 2,676 bln dollars.
Note that according to the State Statistics Committee, Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover has been equal to 30,041 bln dollars, including export 17,656 bln dollars, and import has been equal to 12,385 bln dollars in 2019. In the January-November of this year, the volume of the country’s trade turnover has made up 19,894 bln dollars, including export 11,127 bln dollars, while import amounted to 8,767 bln dollars.
