The volume of Georgia’s foreign trade turnover with Azerbaijan has made up USD 831 349,2 thousand in January-November of this year, and this is 11,5% or 107 968,3 thousand dollars more in comparison to the same period of 2019, APA’s local bureau reports citing the report of National Statistics Office of Georgia.

In the reporting period, Georgia has imported goods and products in the amount of 431 725,9 thousand dollars, and this figure 11,3% less than in comparison to the previous year. The import from Azerbaijan has made up 6% of Georgia’s total import in the reporting period.

Georgia’s export to Azerbaijan has been equal to 399 623,3 thousand dollars in January-November. This is 11,7% less than in comparison to the previous year. The export to Azerbaijan has made up 13,2% of Georgia’s total export.

As a result, There was 32,102,700 thousand dollars negative balance in Georgia’s trade turnover with Azerbaijan in January-November of 2020, and this is 5,02% less in anually terms. Thus, the negative balance has been equal to 33 799,7 thousand dollars in the analogical period of the previous year.
