World Bank: Azerbaijan's GDP to increase by 2.8% this year

According to the forecast of the World Bank, the Azerbaijani economy will increase by 2.8% in 2021, APA-Economics reports citing World Bank's newly-published report on the region.

The bank forecasts economic growth to be 3.9% in 2022.

Note that the World Bank increased its forecast on Azerbaijani economy for 2021 by 0.7& in comparison with January forecast, while decreased forecast by 0.6% for 2022.

Remind that GDP decreased by 4.3% in Azerbaijan in 2020.
