Trade turnover between Azerbaijan-Georgia increased by more than 11%

In January-June of this year, trade turnover between Azerbaijan-Georgia has been in the amount of USD 348.6 million, which is by 11.4% more than the relevant period of last year, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee.

According to the APA’s calculations, based on Committee’s report, in the reporting period, the volume of export increasing 15.2% stood to USD 316.2 million, while import decreasing 15.9% stood to USD 32.4 million.

Thus, USD 283.8 million positive balance has occurred in Azerbaijan-Georgia trade turnover and it is by 20.3% more than the same period of the previous year.
