Azerbaijani population decrease cash purchase of euro

In January-September of this year the volume of cash euro supply sold population by the banks was 428 068,0 thousands euro, which is 50 496,0 thousands euro or 10,6% less in comparison to the related period of 2018, according to the calculations of APA Economics based on indicators published by Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

In September of the current year in the volume of 39 163,0 thousands euro was purchased by Azerbaijani population. This is 903 thousand euro or 2,3% less in comparison to August, however 2 680,2 thousands euro or 7,3% more in comparison to the beginning of the current year. Last month euro purchase by the population increased by 148 thousands euro or 0,4% in comparison to the related period of 2018.
