The volume of trade turnover of Azerbaijan with European Union countries amounted to 6 482,1 thousand on Jan-June of current year, which is 22,8% more than compared with analogous period of the last year, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.
The volume of export increased by 28,2% and reached $5319,8 million, while import expanded by 2,9% and amounted to $1 162,3 million.
Therefore, as a result positive balance in the amount of $4 157,5 million occurred in the reporting period, which means 37,7% of increase compared with analogous period of the last year.
