The Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan has decided to reduce the interest rate from 8.5% to 8.25%, the Central Bank told APA-Economics.
The upper limit of the interest rate corridor was set at 10.25%, the lower limit at 6.25% (in the symmetric range, ± 2% of the discount rate).
This decision came into force on July 26, 2019. The information on the next decision of the Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan on interest rate parameters corridor will be announced to the public on September 13, 2019.
