“The economy of Azerbaijan has increased by 2.4% in the first half of the current year”, said Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev during his speech at the board meeting, Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy told APA-Economics.
According to him, the increase is 3.2% in the non-oil sector, 15.7% - non-oil industry, more than 20% -trade turnover, 15%- exportation of non-oil products, and 13% - production of agriculture outputs.
More than $ 6 bln has been invested in the economy of the country, that most part of this is the non-oil sector. It was noted that Azerbaijani currency reserves amounted to $ 49 bln by reaching record limit. In the first 6 months of the current year income of the population increased by 6,6%, inflation was 2,5%.
