The annual inflation in Azerbaijan was 2.5%

In January-September this year, consumer goods and services prices have increased by 2.6% compared to the same period of 2018, including food, beverages and tobacco products by 3.5%, non-food products by 1.3%, paid services to the population prices have increased by 2.4% APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.

Prices of consumer goods and services have increased by 0.3% in September compared to August of the current year, including food, beverages, and tobacco products prices by 0.7%, non-food products by 0.1%, and prices of paid services to the population remained stable.

Note that, the government of Azerbaijan predicts inflation to be 3.8% by the end of this year. Last year inflation in Azerbaijan was 2.3%.
