Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and EU countries grows by 3%

The volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and European Union countries amounted to $8 838,7 million in January-August of this year, which is $252,1 million or 3% more than analogous period of the previous year, APA-Economics calculates based on the report of the State Statistics Committee.

The volume of the export increased by $168,9 million or 2,4% in comparison with correspondent period of the last year and equaled to $7 226,4 million, meanwhile the volume grew by $83,2 million or 5,4% thus reached $1612,3 million.

Positive trade surplus amounted to $5 614,1 million in the reporting period, and this indicator is 85,7 million or 1,6% more than the same period of the last year.
