Value of transactions conducted by foreign citizens visiting Azerbaijan via bank cards decreases

In Janury-September of this year, 2,4 mln. foreigners and stateless persons from 191 countries of the world visited Azerbaijan and it is 9.5% more than the corresponding period of 2018, APA-Economics reports citing 2019 October number of “Export consolidation” of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

In September of this year number of foreign citizens, visiting Azerbaijan increased by 20.8% and value of transactions they carried out via bank cards was AZN 106,2 mln.

In general, value of the transactions conducted by foreign citizens, traveling Azerbaijan, via bank cards was AZN 969 mln. in January-September of 2019, and it is 3.3% less in annual comparison.
