In 2017 Azerbaijan’s agriculture grew 4.2%, services – 3%, industry declined by 3.6%, Asian Development Bank (ADB) said in its report ‘Basic statistics 2018 on Asia and the Pacific’.
According to the bank, export of goods increased by 17.1%, import decreased by 2.5%: ‘Trade balance accounted for 16.4% of GDP. Gross international reserves amounted to $5.335 billion, revenues – to 23.5% of GDP, expenditures to 25.1% of GDP. Current account balance made up 5.5% of GDP’.
