AMF suspended government mortgage lending for eleven months

Azerbaijan-based banks did not give government mortgage loans through Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund in November 2016.

However, the government mortgage lending in the first half of 2016 amounted to AZN 1.1 million, down 70.2 times from previous year.

In November AZN 4.9 million was allocated to AMF from the state budget. AMF refinanced AZN 0.6 million in November 2016.

The AMF did not issue bonds in November.

Regarding AMF mortgage portfolio, as of December 1, the loans allocated by authorized credit institutions amounted to AZN 40,945.6, average period – 280 months, interest rate 6.69% and monthly payment AZN 295.8.
