Azerbaijan-based banks did not give government mortgage loans through Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund in December 2016.
However, the government mortgage lending in the first half of 2016 amounted to AZN 1.1 million, down 70.2 times from previous year.
In December AZN 4.9 million was allocated to AMF from the state budget. AMF refinanced AZN 0.6 million in December 2016.
The AMF did not issue bonds in December.
Regarding AMF mortgage portfolio, as of January 1, 2017 the loans allocated by authorized credit institutions amounted to AZN 41,118.4, average period – 280 months, interest rate 6.69% and monthly payment AZN 296.5.
