Azerbaijan, Russia sign 12 documents on cooperation

APA-Economics reports Gabala Executive Power and Kislovodsk city administration of Russia’s Stavropol province have signed an agreement on cooperation, Narimanov district Executive Power and Russian Astrakhan province signed a Protocol of Intention, agreement on industrial production activity of Astrakhan province in the Special Economic Zone created in the territory of Narimanov district municipal institution, AZPROMO and Trade and Industry Chamber of the Stavropol Territory signed a memorandum on cooperation, AZPROMO and Association of Foreign Economic Activity in Caspian Region signed a memorandum, Azerbaijani Medical University and Stavropol State Medical University signed Frame Contract on cooperation, Guba Tourism Information centre and Derbent 2000 Tourism Centre signed a contract on joint activity on tourism development, Khachmaz Tourism Information centre and Derbent 2000 Tourism Centre signed a contract on joint activity on tourism development, Azerbaijan Fruit and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association and Foreign Economic Activity in Caspian Region signed a memorandum on cooperation.

Moreover, Bentonit LLC, Azerbaijan Railways Express LLC and AzRosPromInvest LLC have signed a Memorandum on Strategic Partnership and Azerbaijan’s Glass House and Dagestan’s Caspian Flat Glass JSC have signed an agreement of intent on supply of goods.

Thereafter, an awarding ceremony was held at the 7th Azerbaijani-Russian Regional Forum. Under the order of Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev, director of secondary school #11 named after Heydar Aliyev in Astrakhan Tatyana Tikhomirova was awarded with Tereggi medal for her merits in education. The medal was presented by Assistant to the President for public and political issues Ali Hasanov. The secondary school #11 named after Heydar Aliyev was launched under the initiative of Heydar ALiyev Foundation in Astrakhan. Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded with the order “For Services Before Astrakhan Region”.
