In January-April 2018, AZN 4,160,100,000 million was invested in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital from all financial sources, of which AZN 2,281,600,000 or 54.8% was invested in non-oil sector, up 42.5% from previous year, said the State Statistical Committee.
State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that 73.6% of these funds were spent to construction of production facilities, 20.7% to construction of facilities on service areas, 5.7% to construction of residential houses with the total area of 518,900 m². Domestic investments amounted to 52.4% of total investments.
In the structure of investments in the fixed capital 55.6% made up investments of enterprises and organizations, 15.9% bank loans, 22.2% budget funds, 0.5% off-budget funds, 5.4% private funds, and 0.4% other funds.
