Bank VTB Azerbaijan gets 17% growth in assets

Baku - APA-Economics. As of September 1, 2016 Bank VTB Azerbaijan’s assets stood at AZN 443.6 million, up 17% from previous year.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 9% to AZN 377.3 million, of which 60% fall to share of business loans.

Deposit portfolio grew 37%.

In the near future, Bank VTB Azerbaijan intends to turn into a partner bank for local businessmen. For this purpose, the bank is forming new team, prepares a new service package and working to apply new operations on factoring, documentary, settlement.

Bank’s total capital meets regulator’s demand.

“We plan to become a partner bank for Azerbaijani businessmen who engage in Russia-related business. Therefore, we plan to fund real sector, production, agriculture and export of products to Russia”, Chairman of bank’s Management Board Yuri Yakovlev said.
