The chairman noted that the Court also receives appeals about banking sphere: “Both courts and Ombudsman appeal to the Constitutional Court about banks. There are several contradictious issues in banking sector. We have already made decisions about some issues. There are also issues being considered. Probably, these issues will be clarified”.
Abdullayev noted that everyone – legal entities and individuals can appeal about the issues which are included in powers of the Constitutional Court: “The court has been receiving since January 2004. I can say the number of appeals is stable in the recent years. May be the appeals have increased. They are received in several stages. Firstly, they are checked in the office of the Constitutional Court. The appeals that are related to us are studied in the chambers of the Court. The appeals to the Constitutional court may relate to any normative act, that’s executive, legislative, municipal, judicial acts. However, all these appeals may be made after all defensive means ended”.
