As of December 1, 2017, deposits placed by the population in the banks amounted to AZN 7,370,600,000, of which AZN 2,285.5 million (31.01%) are in national currency, AZN 5,085,100,000 (68.99%) in foreign currency.
Compared to the previous year, the personal savings rose AZN 768.3million or 50.64%. Savings in foreign currency declined AZN 846,300,000 or 14.3%.
Along with this, manat deposits rose AZN 95.9 million or 4.4%, the deposits in foreign currency descended AZN 5.5 million or 0.11% in November.
