In June 2018, deposits placed by the population in the banks amounted to AZN 8,109,300,000, of which AZN 3,048.7 million (37.6%) are in national currency, AZN 5,060,600,000 (62.4%) in foreign currency.
Compared to the previous year, the personal savings increased by AZN 1,210,300,000 or 1.7-fold. Savings in foreign currency declined AZN 8.1 million or 0.2%.
Along with this, manat deposits increased by AZN 129.5 million or 4.44%, the deposits in foreign currency descended by AZN 112.3 million or 2.3% in June.
