Eight banks’ tax debt in amount of AZN 173,000 written off

Ministry of Taxes has announced the list of legal entities, of which tax debts have been written off in accordance with the law "On regulation of tax debts of taxpayers from January 1, 2017".

According to APA-Economics, the list also includes eight banks which seven of them have been or are being closed, one is in operation.

So, Atabank’s debt in the amount of AZN 46,401.7 has been written off unconditionally.

Moreover, Atrabank’s debt in amount of AZN 852, DebutBank’s AZN 27,283,300, Texnikabank’s AZN 522,291.8 and Eurobank’s AZN 28.8 were written off. At the same time, AZN 91,224,300, AZN 16,574 and AZN 8,116,900 of closed Birlikbank, Bank Standard and United Credit Bank have also been written off.

Along with the banks, debts of some Non-Banking Credit Institutions (AZN 6,070,200 of Finex Kredit, AZN 495 of RHM Finance, AZN 1,146.7 of Agan LLC, AZN 1,154.3 of Birlik Credit Union, AZN 4,780.7 of Tatyan Credit Union, AZN 12,326 of Ilham credit Union and AZN 1,116.9 of Mikrokredit LLC) have also been written off.
