Interest in real estate compulsory insurance declines

In November 2017, 11,335 insurance contracts were signed on real estate compulsory insurance, down 26% in comparison with a year ago.

According to Compulsory Insurance Bureau (CIB), premiums from this type of insurance made up AZN 3,397,625, up 58% from previous year. 8,038 of contracts were signed on residential houses and apartments, 220 on administrative buildings, 3,077 on other real estates.

In November 426 contracts were signed on compulsory insurance of civil liability on exploitation of real estate (premiums – AZN 28,770) and 12 on compulsory personal accident insurance of passengers (premiums – AZN 11,114).
