Russia’s ACRA: International reserves of Central Bank of Azerbaijan will go up

‘International reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will go up to the level of the country's total imports for 8–9 months (or up to $8.5 billion at the end of 2022)’, says the report “Azerbaijani economy: 2022 outlook” by Russia's Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA).

According to the agency, the CBA’s reserves stood at $5.3 billion as at the end of 2017. ACRA analysts expect the reserves to increase by 60.4% in 2018-2022.

The reserves will make up $6.2 billion in 2018, $6.6 billion in 2019, $7.5 billion in 2020, $8 billion in 2021 and $8.5 billion in 2022.
