Volume of capital industry reaches AZN24 bln

The volume of industrial goods and services in Baku decreased by 5.1% to AZN 24 billion in January-September 2017.

Baku City Statistical Department told APA-Economics that 81.7% of industrial production falls to share of mining, 15.9% - processing, 1.7% - electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply, and 0.7% - water supply, wastewater treatment and processing sectors. The share of non-state sector in the industry was 81.3%. 86.2% of total production is due to industrial production and 13.8% to industrial services.

A large part of the products has been sent to consumers. Taking into account the reserves created in the previous periods, there were products worth AZN 365.7 mln in industrial warehouses as of Oct.1. There were also other products in industrial warehouses in the amount of AZN 12.8 mln which were purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale.
