Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Russia’s Vneshtorgbank (VTB) will soon complete acquisition of a 51% stake in Azerbaijan’s AF Bank, said Russia’s Trade Officer in Azerbaijan, Yuri Shedrin.
He said the VTB office in Baku is ready.
“We would like VTB’s subsidiary to be registered in Azerbaijan this month,†he added.
According to him, VTB has already closed its Savings Bank of Armenia’s branch in Nagorno Karabakh.
