6.9% inflation is forecasted for next year in Azerbaijan

It is forecasted inflation of an average of 6.2% to be recorded each year in 2022-2026, it has been reflected in the commentary of the Chamber of Accounts to the draft on "State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2023", APA reports.

It has been noted in the commentary that analysis of forecast information on average annual information gives ground to say it.

Note that it has been determined in the "Socio-economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026" inflation will be maintained between 4+-2 interval with basic terms.

An outlook of 6.2% inflation is a bit more than the upper level of the target diapason.

The commentary has stated that in the documents submitted together with the 2023 draft budget, it has been noted that the average inflation is predicted to be 12.5% in 2022 and 6.9% in 2023.
