The amount of loans given by the Asian Development Bank to Azerbaijan so far and paid back is USD 4 bln, said Sanan Shabanov, Senior Investment Officer at Asian Development Bank (ADB) while delivering a speech at the third Finance and Investment Forum in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
"ADB is mostly known as a bank working with the public sector. But we also have certain projects with the private sector. Our strategy for 2030 has 7 goals. One of them is to increase the share of the private sector in our investment and credit portfolio to one-third," said S. Shabanov.
