The period of VAT exemption for the import and sale of hybrid vehicles that don’t have an engine capacity of more than 2500 cubic centimeters and a production date isn’t more than 3 years will be extended, APA reports.
It’s reflected on the proposed amendment to Tax Code which was discussed at the meeting held at Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, the period of VAT exemption for the import and sale of hybrid cars that don’t have an engine capacity of more than 2500 cubic centimeters and a production date isn’t more than 3 years will be extended till January 1, 2026.
The draft law was adopted in the third reading by putting to the vote.
