Azerbaijani Central Bank prepares cyber security strategy together with IFC

Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) prepares a cyber security strategy for financial markets, said CBA Executive Director Farid Osmanov, APA-Economics reports.

He stressed that CBA cooperates with International Finance Corporation (IFC): “The normative-methodological base is being developed in the direction of protecting information security and providing cyber security of financial market participants. There are rules that ensure information security in banks. We carry out monitoring in this direction. The strategy which is being prepared with IFC will include the issues of regulation and prevention of cyber threats in the sector”.
