An economic-trade mission and joint business forum of commodity producers of Republic of Kazakhstan were held in the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
Speaking at the opening of the event, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration Kairat Torebayev, expressed his belief that trade relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan will expand: "The volume of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan was USD 262 mln previous year, and in 2023 trade turnover is predicted to increase by 15 percent".
He added that 23 Kazakh companies participate in the business forum held in Azerbaijan.
It was noted that the main purpose of the event is to establish direct relations between Kazakh enterprises and Azerbaijani potential importers, traders and distributors, and to intensify trade relations.
