"Azerbaijan's CBA considers that 85-90% of inflation of the current year is, directly and indirectly, related to external factors," said the chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov at the meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising during the discussion of the draft law "On the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2023, APA reports.

He noted that the main work of the Central Bank is to ensure currency policy and macroeconomic stability: "Currency regime is a part of our work. The Central Bank and the Government think that the stable regime of the currency is the most favorable regime. In the next year, the Central Bank will try to protect the stable currency regime, and will do its best for this".
