In 2022, Azerbaijan produced a gross domestic product worth AZN 133.8 billion or 4.6% more than the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
The value added by the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 2.7%, while increased by 9.1%and in the non-oil and gas sector.
According to the committee, industry accounts for 51.1% of GDP production, trade, repair of vehicles for 8.2%, transport and logistics for 6.0%, agriculture, forestry and fisheries for 4.8%, construction for 4,8, tourist accommodation and catering for 1.6%, information and communications for 1.4%, other industries for 14.7%. Net taxes on products and imports amounted to 7.4% of GDP.
GDP per capita in the country amounted to AZN 13292,2.
