With the presented draft law, it is planned to increase the expenditure of the state budget by 10%, said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov during the discussion of the amendment proposed to the law on the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2023 at the meeting of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
The minister stressed that in addition to this, some of the approved expenditures of the state budget will be optimized and additional financial security will be formed: "Excluding the transfer from the State Oil Fund, additional revenues of the state budget amounted to AZN 2.6 bln in the first 5 months of the current year. The increased main expenditures of the state budget will be directed to the reconstruction of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur".
