Azerbaijan's state budget for 6 months was executed with a surplus of 1268.9 million manats

The upper limit of the state budget deficit for 2022 was initially approved in the amount of 3063.0 million manats, and then changed accordingly and reached 3106.0 million manats, said in the semi-annual report on the implementation of the 2022 State budget prepared by the Accounting Chamber, APA reports.

It was noted that for 6 months of this year, the state budget was executed with a surplus of 1268.9 million manats. The amount provided for the reporting period by the sources of financing of the state budget deficit amounted to 434.0 million manats, or 31.9 percent less than the execution, which is 2.1 times less than the funds received in the corresponding period of 2021.

In the reporting period, the receipts from privatization were less than the forecast of the period and were calculated to the state budget, but an increase in unpaid debt balances was observed.

During this period, 25.9 million manats were received from the privatization of state property. The six-month task was completed by 20.0 million manats (44%), compared to the corresponding period last year, it was 6.4 million manats less (19.9%). In 6 months, state property worth 41.4 million manats was privatized. However, the state budget received 25.9 million manats, of which 15.5 million manats increased the balance of unpaid funds to the state budget. The balances of these funds due but not paid to the budget increased at the end of the period compared to the beginning and amounted to 25.2 million manats.
