Director General of Asian Development Bank to visit Azerbaijan's Aghdam

On September 12, Azerbaijan's Minister of Finance, a member of the Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Samir Sharifov met with the delegation led by Shixin Chen, the Vice-President of the Asian Development Bank who is on a visit to our country, the Ministry of Finance told APA.

At the meeting, consultations were held on the current state and future directions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and ADB, including the main directions of the partnership strategy for the country, which will be developed in 2023 and will cover the years 2024-2028, the importance of developing the new partnership strategy in accordance with "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for socio-economic development" and the socio-economic development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026 was noted.

Within the framework of the visit, Vice President Shixin Chen will also visit the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and Yevgeniy Zhukov, the general director of the bank accompanying him on the visit, will also visit the Agdam region, liberated from the occupation.
