The global inflationary processes were also observed within the country, giving reason to say that the price increase is more influenced by the supply channels, said in the semi-annual report on the implementation of the 2022 State budget prepared by the Accounting Chamber, APA reports.

It was noted that inflation was related to both internal and external factors, and the price increase was recorded mostly for food products (18.4%). The increase in producer price indices and imported products in the period under review has led to the conclusion that inflation is formed more through supply channels. Thus, an increase was observed in most producer price indices, compared to the corresponding period of last year, imported products increased by 21.0% in January-May.
