Inflation made up 13,9% in Azerbaijan in 2022

In 2022, the consumer prices index made up 113,9 percent in comparison to 2021, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

According to the information, in 2022, food products, beverages, and tobacco products increased by 19,5 percent, non-food products by 8,6 percent, and paid services provided to the population increased by 10,4 percent. In December of 2022, the consumer price index made up 101,0 percent in comparison to the previous month, and 114,4 percent compared with December of the last year.

In December 2022, the consumer price index over food products, beverages, and tobacco products increased by 1,7% in comparison to the previous month, and 19,0 percent in comparison to December of the previous year.
