The consumer price index in Azerbaijan in 2021 amounted to 106.7% compared to 2020, including 108.1% for food, beverages, and tobacco products, 105.1% for non-food products, 105,8 for paid services provided to the population, APA-Economics reports, citing the statement of the State Statistics Committee.
It is noted that in December 2021, the consumer price index was 101.6% compared to the previous month, while 112% in comparison to December of the previous year.
In December 2021, the consumer price index for food, beverages, and tobacco products was 102.6% compared to the previous month and 115.8% compared to December of the previous year.
In December last year, the consumer price index for non-food products accounted for 100.7% compared to the previous month, 107.7% compared to December of the previous year.
In December 2021, the consumer price index for paid services provided to the population amounted to 100.9% compared to the previous month and 110% in comparison to December of the previous year.
