Investment in non-oil and gas sector increased by almost 14% in Azerbaijan

In 2022, AZN 18 272,3 mln were allocated to the fixed capital, or 5,5% more than in 2021, APA-Economics reports citing Azerbaijan's Statistical Committee.

The volume of investments in the oil and gas sector decreased by 9,8 %, while the volume of funds allocated to the non-oil and gas sector increased by 13,6%.

It's noted that AZN 13 461, 5 mln or 73,75% of the funds directed to the fixed capital were directly spent on construction and installation works.

In the total value of funds directed to fixed capital, funds of enterprises and organizations made up 49,3%, budget funds 36,4%, personal funds of the population 6,7 %, bank loans 2,6%, and other funds 5.0%.
