Privileges to be provided to World Bank Group Organizations in Azerbaijan

The World Bank Group organizations located in Azerbaijan will be granted a number of privileges and immunities, APA reports.
It has been reflected on the draft law “On adoption of the Agreement “On Establishing and Operation of Offices in Azerbaijan signed by the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the World Bank Group.

According to the Agreement, the World Bank Group Organization is free from searches, orders, confiscations (except special confiscations), expropriations or any forms of arrest as a result of an executive or legislative measures, regardless of the location of its assets and property.
