“The World Bank continues cooperation with Azerbaijan based on the initiatives from the government. Last year, we marked the 30th anniversary of our cooperation with Azerbaijan. During this period, we supported the development of human capital in Azerbaijan,” World Bank Regional Manager for Azerbaijan Sarah Michael said during the presentation of the World Bank's report "Protection of human capital during shocks and crises", APA-Economics reports.
“Investing in human resources accelerates the development processes in the country. We are working on a partnership plan with Azerbaijan for the next five years. We want to include the priorities regarding the development of human capital, which may contribute to the development of capital over the country, including Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur,” she added.
