“The initiative of the establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund was put forward by President Ilham Aliyev,” said Deputy Economy Minister Elnur Aliyev during the discussion of the draft law on the approval of the treaty regarding the establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund.
According to the Deputy Minister, the purpose of the fund is to contribute to the development of the OTS participation countries: “The fund will mostly support projects on green energy. On the other side, the treaty on the establishment of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Fund was approved and paperwork regarding the establishment of the fund has already been started.”
